Metal Fabrication in Hamilton

In-house laser cutting — coming in 2027

From flat plate to finished welded assembly under one roof — delivered on time across the GTA and Southwestern Ontario.

One shop, drawing to finished assembly

Since 1999, RUMIX has fabricated custom metal parts for manufacturers in Hamilton, Toronto and Southwestern Ontario. Cutting, forming, welding, machining and assembly all happen in the same building — so your parts don’t bounce between suppliers, which is where most delays and quality problems start.

One-off prototypes, replacement parts and repeat production. With 300+ material profiles in stock and a team that averages 18 years of experience, we can usually start the day your order is approved. New to fabrication? Read how steel fabrication works — from drawing to finished part.

FAQ

Metal fabrication questions

What metals do you fabricate?
Mild/carbon steel, stainless steel (including 304 and 316) and aluminum. We keep more than 300 material profiles in stock — plate, sheet, tube, angle, channel and bar — so most jobs start without waiting on material.
Do you offer laser cutting?
In-house laser cutting is coming to our Hamilton shop in 2027. Until then, send us your drawing and we’ll tell you the best way to get your cut parts made and finished.
Is there a minimum order?
No. We have a no-minimum-order policy — order a single piece to test us, or a full production run.
What do you need to quote a fabrication job?
A drawing (PDF, DXF, DWG or STEP), the material and thickness, quantity and your required date. A sketch or photo of an existing part also works — our team can help develop the drawing.
Can you finish and assemble the parts too?
Yes. We grind and blend welds to your specified finish, machine features after welding, and assemble complete weldments and machines — so you get finished parts instead of managing several suppliers.

Send us your drawings.

Upload a drawing, sketch or photo and we’ll come back with a quote. No minimum order — one piece or a production run.
