Get back up and running

Weld, machine and fabricate — in one place

Broken shafts, cracked housings, worn bores and failed brackets can stop a production line. RUMIX combines welding, machining and fabrication in one Hamilton shop, so we can repair the part, re-machine it to size, or make a brand-new replacement without sending it to three different suppliers.

We also rework and remanufacture existing equipment and pipe — restoring worn machines and upgrading them so they perform better than before.

Decision guide

Repair or replace?

Repair it when…

  • The new part is expensive
  • Lead time is weeks or months
  • The part is obsolete or custom
  • Damage is a localized crack or wear
  • Every hour of downtime counts

Replace it when…

  • A new part is cheap
  • It’s in stock locally
  • It’s a standard catalogue part
  • Damage or corrosion is widespread
  • The machine can wait

Not sure? Send us photos — we’ll tell you honestly. More in weld it or replace it?
